Launch your first workspace

Register, verify, configure and launch a GPU workspace in five steps. Covers the wizard flow, prepaid credit top-up, and how to open Jupyter.

This guide walks you from a blank account to a running GPU workspace. It takes about ten minutes.

Step 1 — Register and verify your email

Go to portal.sovereignaigrid.nl and click Get access. Fill in your email and a password. You'll receive a verification email — click the link before continuing.

Step 2 — Open the workspace wizard

Once logged in, click Compute in the top navigation, then Open console. The five-step wizard starts.

Step 3 — Configure your workspace (5 steps)

The wizard has five steps:

  • Use case — pick the closest fit (research, inference, compliance, creative). Sets smart defaults.
  • Compute — choose a GPU class and EU region. Pick access methods: Jupyter, SSH, API endpoint and/or WireGuard.
  • Data — name an S3 bucket (created on provision) and set an estimated dataset size.
  • Cost — see the full cost breakdown before you pay anything.
  • Launch — top up prepaid GPU credit and confirm.

Step 4 — Pay prepaid GPU credit

On the Launch step, enter a credit amount (minimum €10). You'll be redirected to Mollie for iDEAL or card payment. After payment the provisioning screen appears — workspace creation takes about 60 seconds.

Step 5 — Open the dashboard and Jupyter

Once provisioned, you land on the instance dashboard. Under the Access card, find the Jupyter URL and token. Open the URL in your browser, enter the token, and you're in.
